Asante Kotoko skipper Amos is confident the Porcupine Warriors can travel to Zambia and pull a surprise against Nkana FC.
A win or draw is likely to brighten the chances of qualifying from group C of the CAF Confederation Cup, after victory over Zesco in Ghana.
According to Amos Frimpong, his side’s are bent on winning all home games so avoiding a defeat on the road will be a huge morale booster for them.
“We need a positive result against Nkana in order to enhance our chances of qualification from the group because it is an open one,” he told Graphic Sports.
“As for our three home matches, they are must-wins for us so I think the focus should be on the away matches and how we will be able to get good results,” he added.
Kotoko recovered from their first loss to Al Hilal of Sudan to narrowly edge out group leaders, ZESCO, 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium last Wednesday.
Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor of Kotoko faces a stern test to condition his charges ahead of the crucial game as they seek to avoid a second defeat.
