Setif got the important goal in the 81st minute from a counter-attack as Kendouci Mohammed snatched a 2-1 win for the visitors.

The Ghanaian side were awarded a penalty after the ball hit the hand of a Setif player but Naby Keita failed to convert the penalty as ES Setif goalie saved the ball to deny Kotoko a home draw.
