Ghanaian forward Bernard Morrison might play no part this afternoon when Yanga SC host South Sudanese champions Zalan FC in the second leg of the 2021/22 CAF Champions preliminary round.
Morrison sustained an injury on Tuesday when his side beat Mtibwa Sugar by three goals to nil and club medical head Sheicky Mngazija says although it was not serious, the Ghanaian is still being observed.
“Morrison injured his ankle in the match against Azam and we had to do tests on him, but they did not show that he was seriously injured, but he is doing well, we are continuing to monitor him gradually to check his improvement.” Yanga SC Club Doctor, Sheicky Mngazija stated ahead of today’s game.
Yanga won the first leg by four goals to nil and they look certain to make it to the next stage of the competition.
