Former CAF Champions League Winner Charles Taylor says no Ghanaian football club can make impact in the continental competition for the next 10 years.
According to the former Accra Hearts of Oak SC player, Ghanaian clubs lacks a lot and for that matter can not make their presence felt in the competition.
“Right now, no Ghanaian club can make impact in Africa in the next 10 years”, disappointed Taylor said on Angel TV after Hearts of Oak’s elimination from the continental club tournament on Sunday.
The 2020-21 Ghana Premier League winners Accra Hearts of Oak SC were beaten by Algeria small club JS Saoura 4-0 in Bechar to eliminate their Ghanaians from the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
Hearts went into the second leg with a healthy 2-0 first leg lead but succumbed to to a humiliating 4-0 loss to exit the competition at the playoffs stage.
