Comoros Island national team head coach Amir Abdou maintains that CAF should stand on their grounds for the AFCON to come on.
A few European clubs wants the tournament to be canceled as they will lose key players in crucial part of the season but Amir insists the African football ruling body should not yield to their demands.
“Cameroon has spent a lot of money to organize the CAN, the coaches have been working on the preparation for months, the players are eager to play in the tournament: it would be incomprehensible if it did not take place and CAF gives in to pressure from a few European clubs,” Amir told the Press in his native land.
Comoros Island who are in the same Group with Ghana, Gabon and Morocco are scheduled to fly to Saudi Arabia on December 25th for training camping.
