CAF U-20 Golden boy, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku played his debut game for Ghana’s Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers matchday three-game against Zimbabwe.
The promising attacking midfielder was handed a starting berth by new manager Milovan Rajevac alongside Mohammed and Kamaldeen Sulemana on Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Stars won the game with goals from Kudus Mohammed in the 5th minute, Thomas Partey in the 66th and Andre Ayew in the 87th. Zimbabwe scored a consolation goal through Knowledge Musona in the 49th minute.
Fatawu who played no game under sacked Charles Akonnor was, however, subbed in the second after being replaced by midfielder Baba Iddrisu in tbe second.
