Ghana’s Black Meteors defender cum winger Robin Polley, is hoping to use the 2019 Caf U23 Championship in Egypt to showcase his incredible talent to the world.
Polley, 21, the son of former Ghana star Prince Polley, has been included in Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s squad for the tournament which runs from 8th-22nd November, 2019.
The ADO Deen Haag sensation, believes he would make huge impact in the Ghanaian team’s success when handed the opportunity to feature for the Black Meteors by head coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Polley, who left Ghana on Monday afternoon with the team to Egypt, tweeted after the team’s arrival in Egypt ”Time to shine Afcon 2019”
However, the ADO Deen Haag speedster in a separate interview with SportsworldGhana.com, before the team’s departure to Egypt for the Caf U23 Championship said ”I have enjoyed the few days that I have spent with my colleagues in camp and as a debutant, I willing be hoping to get some minutes of playing time and do my best to help the team win,”
Ghana will start their quest for qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with a fixture against Cameroon on Friday and the Dutch-born Ghanaian international is optimistic of helping the Black Meteors record a win in his debut game.
