Ghana’s Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his team is fully ready to face Egypt on Monday.
Ghana will face hosts Egypt in their Group A second fixture and the former Black Stars deputy coach who’s tactical brilliance earned his side a vital point in their opening game against Cameroon on Friday speaking to the press in his pre-match conference, say his boys are ready for the big clash.
“We know how dangerous the Egyptians can be but I am highly confident in my boys’ ability to deliver in such difficult matches,” he said.
Tanko, however, admitted that it is not going to be easy for his boys playing against the host country.
“We know that the task ahead is not going to be an easy one for us, especially playing with the supporters behind their team but as I said I am very confident in my team and I believe they will play without fear to make every Ghanaian proud.”
“There’s no pressure on us because we are preparing very well for the match and I believe victory will be ours come tomorrow against our opponent, Insha Allah”, he added.
The game kicks off at exactly 8pm local time.
