The defending champions ASFAR finished third in the third edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Two first-half goals from Mafia Nyame and Chebbak in the 33rd and 45+2 minutes respectively secured a 2-0 victory for the Moroccans.

ASFAR who lost their opening group stage game against the Ghanaians revenged with a sweet victory that guaranteed them a medal.

Ampem Darkoa has had a very good tournament considering it is their debut and this level requires immense experience to deliver the ultimate. A team full of teenagers, Nana Joe Adarkwah’s team has a very bright future.
