Liverpool have entered the race for the signature of Bayern Munich target Callum Hudson-Odoi at the final minute.
The Metro reports Jurgen Klopp has approached the Blues over a shock swoop for the English-born Ghanaian youngster.
Reports claim Hudson-Odoi wants to quit Stamford Bridge for Bayern Munich.
The Germans are apparently offering him more first-team chances, as well as a lucrative wage.
But Chelsea are desperate to keep Hudson-Odoi and have already offered a contract worth £85,000-a-week.
However, it now seems that Liverpool are ready to test the Blues’ resolve by coming in with an 11th-hour offer.
The German champions are understood to have offered £35million for Hudson-Odoi.
And Liverpool could also be set to present a similar package after they apparently met the player and his agent at the start of January.
The Reds have already raided Chelsea for prodigies in recent years, snapping up Rhian Brewster and Dominic Solanke.
