Celtic have been fined €10,000 after their fans held up Palestine flags during their Champions League qualifying match against Israeli side Hapoel Beer-Sheva.
Fans of the Scottish champions held protests before and during the game when it was held at Celtic Park In August.
UEFA have called the signs ‘illicit banners’ and once again fined the the club. It is the ninth time that they have been punished by the governing body for the behavior of their supporters.
Brendan Rodgers men won the game 5-2 to make it through to the Group Stages, which saw them hold a rampant Manchester City to a 3-3 draw at Celtic Park on Wednesday night.
This followed their 7-0 trouncing by Barcelona on Match Day 1.
