Accra Hearts of Oak SC center-back, Nuru Sulley has spoken extensively about the club’s league triumph this season.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian international defender in an interview with Accra-based Hot FM, expressed his views about his team’s title winning campaign and more.
” It was a very difficult league, we are grateful to our fans for their supports throughout this season, it looked very difficult from the start but with hard work we have made it” He told Accra Based Hot Fm.
“I lost my position to Robert Addo Sowah just after the Dreams Fc game which we lost but I was not worried at all because i was then also in a fasting mood which made me a bit weak, He never disappointed the team and some of us who has always been his encouragers” he added.
” Kwadwo Obeng Junior is a very good striker but at a point in time things were not okay, I took the opportunity and encouraged him to keep pushing and it has paid off, we are all happy” He stressed.
“Coach Samuel is very tactical coach, we are happy working with him, we are family and we love each other, unity was part of our success” He explained.
“Togbe has been a father for all of us, he keep pushing us to succeed and here we are, we thank our King” He concluded.
Sully returned from Turkey and joined the Phobians before the start of the season and was a first choice center for most part of the first round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
