Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah says Ghana is full of confidence and not intimidated as the team prepares for its first-ever match against England.
Speaking at a pre-match press briefing in Southampton, she stressed that the Queens trust their quality and identity.
She said the team respects England, but the players believe strongly in themselves and are focused on playing their own style. According to her, the squad is excited rather than nervous, insisting that Ghana can compete with any opponent when the players express their true game.
Chantelle added that there is no fear within the camp and that the group is mentally prepared for the challenge, describing the occasion as a special moment for the team.
The Black Queens face England on Tuesday, with kickoff scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
