Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala has urged supporters to be patient as the Amakhosi look to build into a title-challenging team.
Chiefs have gone four matches without a win in the Absa Premiership after they were held 1-1 at home by SuperSport United on Wednesday night.
The veteran insists that the Soweto giants are improving slowly, and patience is required for them to reach their peak.
“Until now we have not been doing as best as we can. The most important thing is that we are slowly but surely getting there,” Tshabalala told his official website.
“The game was an interesting one. We started slow but got the hang of it. I think that we are starting to click as a team and according to the changes we are trying to go through regarding tactics and all.
“Rome was not built in a day, so we have to be patient and the good times will return.”
Chiefs will host Ajax Cape Town in their next league clash on Tuesday 29 November.
