Inter Milan and Ghana legend Sulley Ali Muntari has revealed the reason behind his decision to sign up for Ghana Premier League giant Hearts of Oak SC.
According to the UEFA Champions League Winner, the Phobians are a side that plays good football which attracted him to take a decision to don the famous rainbow colours.
In an exclusive interview with Heartsofoaksc.com, the former Black Stars player, Muntari, said he has been watching Hearts for long and quiet recently he was at the stadium to watch his new club play in the FA Cup and the premier league against Golden Stick and King Faisal respectively.
When asked what influenced his decision, Sulley reiterated that his son has always wanted to watch him play at the stadium and he feels that he still has what it takes to play. When it was time for him to decide on which club to join the son, inspired him to join and play for Hearts of Oak, the biggest club in Ghana and for that matter one of the very best on the Africa continent.

“My son really pushed me to play because he said he wants to see me play again.” He spoke.
“What made it easy too was the fact that any time I visited Ghana I always trained with the team and I felt at home already so choosing Hearts was very easy.
The ambition in Hearts is what I like because it is obvious, they are ambitious.” He added.
Sulley Muntari started training with the team last week and he is hopeful to be ready for Hearts’ next match against Olympics if Coach Boadu includes him in his squad.
