Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has penned a heartfelt goodbye to KRC Genk supporters following the confirmation of his transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah.

The 20-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract reportedly valued at over €15 million, is expected to be officially presented by his new club on Wednesday, July 9. The deal, finalized in the Netherlands, will keep him at the Saudi Pro League outfit until 2029.

Taking to social media, Bonsu Baah expressed his deep gratitude to Genk fans:
“I’m proud to have played 90 matches for this incredible club. I’ve enjoyed every single day, every single minute of it. From today on, I’ll be your biggest fan,” he said in an emotional message.

Bonsu Baah’s meteoric rise began in early 2023 when he moved from Ghanaian third-division club Shooting Stars to Norwegian side Sarpsborg. His talent quickly drew attention, and after just 12 appearances in Norway, Genk swooped in to sign him—beating interest from top European giants including Barcelona and Manchester United.

During his two-year stint in Belgium, the versatile attacker featured in 90 matches across all competitions, registering five goals and seven assists. His development has also earned him a spot in the Ghana national team, making his senior debut in friendlies against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.

The move to Al Qadsiah marks a bold new chapter in Bonsu Baah’s journey, but his parting words reflect the strong bond he formed with Genk and its supporters.
