Black Stars Head coach CK Akonnor has named his starting line up to face São Tomé and Principe in the final group game in Group C of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Swansea City AFC star Andre Ayew, Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew and Arsenal midfield kingpin, Thomas Partey have all been included in the team to face the minors today.
Though the Black Stars of Ghana have already booked their tickets for the next year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament which will be hosted by Cameroon, the gaffer has decided to play his European based players who are well known instead of giving some fresh faces the chance to shine.
Asante Kotoko SC goalkeeper Razak Abalora and defender Ishmael Ganiu are the only home-based players to make into the lineup.
Osman Bukari of Gent gets his first start for the Black Stars after coming from bench to make his debut against South Africa last Thursday.
