Ghanaian rising star Ibrahim Sulemana is filled with confidence about his career development since joining Cagliari in the summer transfer window.

The young midfielder is set to work under the guidance of the experienced and renowned manager, Claudio Ranieri, known for nurturing talents like French maestro N’Golo Kante.

Having met his new manager recently after making the move from Hellas Verona, Sulemana expressed his delight with the warm welcome he received from his teammates and the staff. He praised the training facilities and the overall environment at Cagliari, feeling right at home.

“I’m happy to be here at Cagliari, the first week of training was excellent, my teammates and the staff were very welcoming, I like the facilities and the whole environment. I was already following Cagliari because two of my compatriots, Duncan and Asamoah, played here in Sardinia,” said the defensive midfielder, as quoted by the club’s website.

The Ghanaian midfielder highlighted the positive impact of having two of his compatriots, Duncan and Asamoah, previously play for Cagliari. He also mentioned facing Luvumbo during the Primavera championship, establishing a sense of familiarity with the club.

Sulemana expressed his excitement about being coached by Claudio Ranieri, one of the most experienced Italian managers in the world, known for his successful stints with top European clubs and his Premier League triumph. He believes that under Ranieri’s guidance, he will be able to maximize his potential and perform at his best on the field.

“Being coached by one of the most experienced Italian managers in the world, who has managed top European clubs and also won a Premier League, I’m sure he will allow me to bring out the maximum of my potential. I’m giving everything, I hope to play well and when the time comes to be called into question.”
