Manager of Arminia Bielefield striker Prince Osei Owusu, Clifford Asare says his client will fight for his stay at the newly-promoted Bundesliga side despite the club wanting to dispose him off.
Arminia Bielfield sports director Samir Arabi recently emphasized that Owusu has no future at the club and they are ready to sell him this summer but Clifford Asare who is the player’s cousin and also acts as his manager reiterated the “Blues” must respect the deal they have with the striker.
“It is clear that there are a few interested parties, but a change is out of the question for Prince. He felt very comfortable in Bielefeld in his first six months. With a heavy heart, he went to 1860 for a year and a half. But this time he wants to assert himself here, ”Asare told westfalen.
“Prince will keep working and accelerating. It’s fast in football, a lot can happen. It’s not about the money elsewhere, he can earn the same as at Arminia”.
“Prince has done nothing wrong, he doesn’t harm anyone. He has a contract that both sides have to respect.” He added.
Owusu, 23, last season scored four goals and provided 4 assists in 28 Bundesliga 3 games for 1860 Munich on loan.
He has one more year left in his existing Bielefied contract.
