Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent Cody Gakpo was on target for PSV Eindhoven as they defeated VVV-Venlo 4-1 on Tuesday night in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Curaçaoan international Jafar Arias opened the scoring for the visitors after 22 minutes into the game when he was set up by
Vito van Crooij but Philipp Max struck in the 35th minute from the spot to level things up for PSV, ending the first half one apiece.
After just four minutes in the second half, Olivier Boscagli scored from Philipp Max’s assist to give the hosts a 2 – 1 lead.
The home side after picking the lead kept pushing for more goals and finally got the third goal through Cody Gakpo when he lashed home Noni Madueke’s cross in the 58th minute.
With the game almost ended 3-1, in favour of the home side, Adrian Fein scored in the 90th minute after Noni Madueke’s fine pass to seal a 4-1 victory for PSV Eindhoven at the Venue: Philips stadium.

Gakpo has so far made 17 appearances this campaign for PSV, scoring 10 goals.
