SPORTSWorldGhana‘s Gariba Raubil has picked a combined eleven ahead of Sunday’s big game.
GK – Razak Abalora – Kotoko
Abalora is currently the goalkeeper on form ahead of the Hearts of Oak custodian Richard Attah. Quiet an easy choice to make here.
RB – Christopher Nettey- Kotoko
There is no debate here. Nettey is ahead of Fatau Mohammed or Larry Sumaila.
LB – Raddy Ovoka – Hearts of Oak
This was the most difficult choice to make. Imoro is the better player in terms of attack as he has three goals to his credit this season whilst the Phobian defender is stronger defensively but has not goals scored. The primary duty of a defender is to defend and for that reason I settled on the Congolese.
CB – Ismail Ganiyu, Mubarik Yussif – Kotoko
They have performed better some the Hearts of Oak duo of Mohammed Alhassan and Nuru Sulley. Easy choice to make here again.
CDM – Emmanuel Sarkodie – Kotoko
The former Nkoranza Warriors midfielder has shone up to become one of the key cogs in the Kotoko midfield.
RCM – Ansah Botchway – Hearts of Oak
Another easy decision to make here. The most consistent midfielder in the Phobian side, Fred deserves to pick a place on this team.
LCM – Latif Anabila – Kotoko
The pass master is a player on form and picks the place on this team.
RF – Victor Aidoo – Hearts of Oak
Six goals so far for Aidoo as the top scorer of his team.
CF – Kwame Poku – Kotoko
Another easy choice. No way he was not going to make this team. 6 goals so far Poku this season.
LF – Manaf Umar – Hearts of Oak
Better than Fabio Gama? Yes. Manaf has some better than the Brazilian. 3 goals against 0 goals. 3 assists against 1 assist. Manaf is ahead
