Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee President Dr. Kofi Amoah has called for support for Asante Kotoko ahead of their game against Kariobangi Sharks.
Kotoko will be hosting the Kenyan side on Saturday in a second leg encounter of their CAF Confederation Cup game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
With the first leg ending scoreless draw a week ago, the many believe the Ghanaian giants have a very good chance of making it to the next stage of the competition.
Dr. Amoah who is supporting the Porcupine Warriors to go through wants a massive attendance at the stadium on Saturday.
“We have to troop to the stadium in our numbers to cheer the team to victory,” he said
“They need our physical and spiritual support to make it and i have no doubt they will make it.”
“Kotoko have taken the Africa campaign serious and i am happy the Normalisation Committee allowed them to go. They will make all of us proud.
Kotoko managed a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Kasarani Stadium last week and will be hoping to get a win which will see them through to the next stage of the competition.
