The Accra and Cape Coast Stadia have been chosen as the official venues for the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup.
The competition which will be held in Ghana in November this year will have eight teams from the continent competing for the ultimate prize.
Chairperson of the local organizing committee of the competition, Hon. Freda Prempeh, speaking at the official launch of the competition last Friday confirmed the two venues have been selected to host the competition.
“The Accra Sports Stadium and Cape Coast Stadium have been selected for the competition,” Madam Freda Prempah confirmed during the “We will make sure these venues are kept in good shape for the competition.
“In addition, the University of Ghana Stadium, the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium and Ndoum Stadium have also been selected as the training venues for the competition.”
The 2018 Africa Women’s Championship will be played from November 17 to December 1.
