Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Kofi Owusu has signed a 3 year deal with Obuasi based Ashanti Gold SC, sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The former Berekum Chelsea striker who is looking forward to relaunch his career signed the deal with the miners on Tuesday afternoon at the club’s secretariat.
Owusu in December last year canceled his contract with Egyptians side Aswan FC .
Multiple media reports claimed the contract of the striker was terminated over poor performance.
Owusu joined Aswan from Berekum Chelsea two seasons ago after winning the goal king crown in Ghana.
