Giants Accra Hearts of Oak have been dealt with a big blow after three of their players have contracted Coronavirus just a week before the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Coach Edward Odoom’s side returned to Accra on Friday following a two-week camping in Cape Coast ahead of the start of the cmapign.
The club took to Twitter to announce that three of their players have tested positive for Covid-19.
The club however did not reveal the names of the affected players.
“Three people out of the team that went for corona test have tested positive, and have been referred to the appropriate quarters for isolation and treatment. We wish them well and hope to see them join us soon.”

Hearts of Oak will kick start their campaign with a trip to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
