Ghanaian defender Yaw Frimpong has rejoined giants Asante Kotoko on a one-year deal ahead of their African campaign next season.
The right-back confirmed his reunion with the Porcupine Warriors to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.
He says ”I have signed a one year deal with an option with Asante Kotoko without any signing on fee but a monthly salary,”
”I’m starting training with Kotoko tomorrow Thursday,”
He however, promised to give out his best for the club.
”I’m promising section of the fans who believe am rusty an excellent performance,”
Frimpong, spent five seasons with Congolese Club TP Mazembe after helping the team to win the 2017 CAF Confederations Cup.
Kotoko on Wednesday announced the signing of Abass Mohammed, Omar Bashiru and Kwame Bonsu.
