Former Black Stars Striker Matthew Amoah has urged the GFA to consider competence over color or nationality in the search for Avram Grant’s successor.
The country has been sharply divided over the choice of a new coach for the team with several former players advocating for a home grown man.
The six-man committee formed to search for a new head coach for the Black Stars next month after over 100 Coaches applied for the job.
Speaking exclusively to Starr Sports,Amoah who capped 43 times and scored 13 goals for Ghana want the search committee to appoint a good Coach for Ghanaians.
“Ghana need a good Coach whether Black,White,Green or yellow,we just need a good trainer to coach the boys because for me color does not matter”
