Chairperson of the Women’s premier league board Hillary Adwoa Boateng has urged local clubs to be innovative to generate more income in the wake of covid 19 pandemic.
Club owners and administrators are finding it difficult to pay their players after football was halted in March due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
Speaking to Starr Sports, Hillary Adwoa Boaten says there are several ways the clubs can generate income and one of such ways is by producing branded PPEs and sell to their fans in this corona virus period.
“The numbers are there for us to do the calculations and I will use myself as an example because I support Kotoko and I tell you if Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars, Ampem Darkoaa come out with these things, trust me there is no way the fans will not patronize it” She told Starr Sports.
