Crystal Palace and Black Stars midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp is set to undergo a scan to find out the extent of the hamstring injury he sustained while on an international break duty with Ghana last Friday.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian midfielder was substituted in the first half of Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Ethiopia after suffering a hamstring injury on the 27th minute and was replaced by Daniel Kyereh.
After the unfortunate incident, Schlupp left the team’s training camp and has returned to London for proper medical examination to ensure that he’s given the appropriate treatment to recover quickly by the Premier League side’s doctors.
He has not been lucky enough with injury situations and suffered several injuries over the past few years, and Palace faithful will be hoping the injury isn’t serious.
He featured for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League this season before heading to Ghana and picking up his latest injury in the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast stadium in Ghana.
