Crystal Palace has confirmed Patrick Vieira as their new manager on a three-year contract as the club gets ready to begin their pre-season training on Monday but the question of concern is whether the french manager will trust Ghana striker Jordan Ayew or not.
The Black Stars striker – whose contract with the Eagles expires in 2022 – experienced a regrettable season after scoring just a goal in 34 matches for Palace during the course of last campaign.
Striker Christian Benteke has been handed a new deal already but same could not be said of other players including Jordan.
Many players who are nearing the end of their contract are said to be frustrated as there seems to be no clarity about their future at the club but now that a new manager has been appointed things are expected to run smoothly.
Jordan Ayew is expected to start training with his new manager in the meantime since no decision has been arrived at as things stand now.
