Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei scored in Oxford United’s 4-3 away win over Rochdale AFC on Tuesday evening in the English League One.
The visitors struck first to take the lead as early as the 12th minute with Agyei’s left-footed scorcher from outside the box into the bottom right corner following a corner kick.
The first half ended 2-1 to Rochdale as Matt Done and Stephan Humphrys scored on the 22nd and 30th minutes respectively.
After the recess, the visitors scored three times to edge Rochdale in an end-to-end and frenetic encounter to return home with all three points in a seven-goal thriller as Oxford United won seven games in a row for the first time since 1994.
Agyei, 23 has scored three goals and assisted one goal in twenty matches in the league one.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Kwadwo Baah started for Rochdale but was substituted for Alex Newby in the 60th minute.
