Ghana international Daniel Amartey returned to the pitch after a two-month injury layoff in Leicester City’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in the English Premiership.
The versatile player replaced Tim Castagne, who was also making a return from injury in the 60th-minute mark of the game.
Toby Alderweireld scored an own goal to double Leicester City’s lead in the 59th minute after Jamie Vardy had scored from the spot in the 45+5 minute.
The Black Stars defender had recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered back in October during a league match against West Ham United.
Amartey was making his third league appearance of the season.
