Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey is not in the Leicester City squad to face Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that the versatile defender together with six others including Ademola Lookman, Jannik Vestergaard and Kelechi Iheanacho were not in the plane bound for Naples.
According to reports, some of the players have contracted Coronavirus whereas others have malaria which has made them not to be included for the trip.
It is however not known whether Amartey is part of those with Coronavirus or those who have Malaria.
Leicester need to win against the Serie A title challengers, as a defeat will mean that their passage to the knockout phase will be determined on the result of the Legia Warsaw and Spartak Moscow game.
