Defender Daniel Amartey suffered an injury on his second league appearance start of the season for Leicester City during Sunday’s English Premier League clash with West Ham United.
The versatile Ghana international defender got injured in the 53rd minute after a nasty challenge.
He was seen limping as he walked off the pitch with new signing Ünder Cengiz replacing him.
Amartey was in superb form on his first league appearance in almost two years as the Foxes walloped Manchester City 5-2 at the Etihad.
He will be assessed on Monday by the club’s medical team to ascertain the extent of the injury.
