Former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC marksman, Daniel Lomotey made his ES Setif bow in their emphatic 3-0 win over Enyimba FC of Nigeria.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker midfielder joined the Black and Whites Eagles from the WAFA SC academy after his breakthrough season without any problems of injuries unlike his campaigns.
Lomotey came on after 70 minutes to replace Ibrahim Saidi at the time the Algerians were leading Enyimba 3-0 after losing 2-1 in the reverse fixture.
Lomotey joined Setif on the 29th of January 2021 in a big-money move but had to wait until last Sunday to play his first game for the club in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The youngster played nine games in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League for WAFA and bagged eight goals and five assists before his move to the Algerian Champions.
After his debut in the CAF Confederations Cup, the young but talented Ghanaian is expected to gain more playing time at the club due to his output in the game against Enyimba FC.
ES Setif are last on the table with four points from four games after their win over the Nigerians.
