Ghanaian defender Daniel Opare will not feature for Zulte Waregem for at least two weeks after picking up an injury at training.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that the 30-year-old right-back pulled a hamstring at training on Wednesday evening and his club’s medical team insists he needs at least fourteen days off to recover from the injury.
Opare was very efficient over the weekend lasting 90 minutes as his side pipped Mouscron by a goal to nothing in the Jupiler Pro League and his two weeks off could be a big headache for coach Francky Dury.
The Ghanaian will miss games against Waasland Beveren and Oud-Heverlee.
