Danish-born Ghanaian midfielder Niklas Nartey has stated that he’s prepared and more than ready for the Bundesliga after returning to VfB Stuttgart.

The 21-year-old former Chelsea youth players has returned to his parent club after ending an impressive loan stint at Bundesliga II side SV Sandhausen.

The Danish U21 international says he is ready for the challenge in the German Bundesliga but admits he must improve in some aspects of his game.

“I can improve my defensive work even more . And offensively, I want to try to have a lot of influence on the game, regardless of the position.

“I want to be even more on the ball, radiate more goal danger and provide assists – I want to be a midfielder like that. ”That would be a player that the fans of VfB Stuttgart would also like to see.” he said

The central midfielder provided one assist in 16 games during his loan spell at Sandhausen in the Bundesliga 2.
