The 20-year-old forward drew a blank in the goalless stalemate against the Slovakian champions in the UEFA second-tier inter-club competitions, but was eulogized by his manager for his splendid display.
Anderlecht boss Hein Vanhaezebrouck was impressed with my performance against Trnava in the Europa League last Thursday, says Dauda Mohammed.
The talented Ghanaian youngster made his full debut against the Slovakian outfit in the UEFA second inter-club contests having won the trust of his boss for a starting berth.
However, the ex-Asante Kotoko prolific marksman failed to register his name on the scoresheet for the Purple and White lads following their much anticipation for a victory at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium last Thursday.
The budding forward reveals that his game output on the day left his manager much impressed as he played to his tactical instructions from the dugout on the field of play.
”After the game, the coach [Hein Vanhaezebrouck] came to me and congratulated me on my performance,” the former Black Satellites captain told Kumasi-based Angel FM.
He added: ”I played to his tactical instructions and said [he] was very, very much impressed about my performance in the game as I executed his game plan on the turf against our opponents.”
Dauda Mohammed will hope to gain more starting spots in their subsequent league fixtures with RSC Anderlecht in the Belgium top-flight.
