RCD Mallorca’s chase for Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed has been brought to an end after the 22-year old sign a three-year contract extension with Anderlecht earlier this week.
Pablo Ortells’ side tried to sign Dauda to beef up the team but failed to land his signature.
Last summer, Mallorca offered 700,000 euros to Anderlecht and in this month of January, they tried to seduce the Ghanaian with a pre-contract for several seasons so that the next season could come for free.
In addition, the sports director of the Mallorcan team was willing to pay a transfer if necessary in order to incorporate the forward. Finally, the player has ended up discarding Mallorca and accepting a renewal offer from Anderlecht which will tie him until 2023.
