Defender Richie Laryea’s goal for Toronto FC wins AT&T goal of the week

Ghanaian defender Richie Laryea’s strike for Toronto FC has been voted as the AT&T goal of the week by the fans.

The 25-year old was also voted the MLS Player of the Week for Week 14.

He garnered 36 percent of the vote to win the goal of the week when Toronto FC defeated Columbus Crew 3-1 in their crucial clash.

Laryea’s goal in the 76th minute capped a 3-1 win over the Supporters’ Shield leaders, plus he assisted on Toronto’s second in a rapid comeback.

He has made 14 appearances and scored four goals in the ongoing campaigns.

Toronto FC is on the summit of the Eastern Conference table with 34 points after match 16.
