Ghanaian defender, Denis Odoi was a used substitute in Club Brugge’s hard away win in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

Odoi has been inconsistent for Club Brugge this season due to injury. However, the former Fulham player was introduced into the game in the 71st minute of the game to help the Europa Conference League campaigners keep a clean sheet.

The game at the Den Dreef stadium also saw Ghanaian forward Nathaniel Opoku substituted into the game 10 minutes after resumption of the second half.

The hard earned away win for Odoi’s side put Brugge in the 7th spot of the league whiles Leuven dropped to the relegation spot.

Nathaniel Opoku is yet to receive a call up to the senior national team. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is on loan from Leceister City in England
