French Ligue 1 side, Stade Brest have announced the club have terminated their contract with French-born Ghanaian forward Derick Osei Yaw.
The youngster had arrived at the club in the summer of 2019 from Toulouse in a deal due to expire in June 2021.
However, the contract has been terminated after an amicable agreement, the club announced on their website.
Osei Yaw, 2, spent the second half of the season on loan at AS Beziers who had an option to sign him on permanent basis. but he failed to impress the, making only seven league appearances and scoring one goal.
Derrick is still eligible to play for Ghana at the national team level despite representing France at the U19 and U20 levels.
