The former Asante Kotoko forward says the difference between the Tanzania league and Ghana premier league is very minimal.
Yahaya, who joined Tanzanian club Azam FC after an impressive season with 2016 GHALCA FAB G6 winners Aduana Stars finished the season with fifteen goals, two adrift Golden boot winner Latif Blessing of Liberty Professionals.
“Their football is on a high because they understand the game and sees it as business.” he said speaking in an interview with Accra based Happy FM.
Yahaya continued “Comparing the two leagues, I’ll say there’s not much difference because talent-wise I can say they on the same level with Ghana. For instance, I was the second best scorer in the Ghana league last season but I’m playing for Azam, and it might happen that someone else also was adjudged the best player in another country but he’s come to play in Tanzania.”
“You can compare Azam to any of the big clubs in Ghana, and they have good facilities too, which in Ghana I’ll say maybe only two clubs can boast of.”
