The week four encounter in the Ghana Division One League between FC Samartex 1996 and Asokwa Deportivo SC ended in a 1-1 stalemate in Samreboi on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors went into the game after suffering defeat at home to Pacific Heroes in their previous match at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Samartex on the other hand were brimming in confidence after picking a point in Daboase against promotion chases, Skyy FC and were confident of a victory at home.
In the first half of the match, the host struck first to take a deserving lead as the first half ended 1-0 to Samartex.
After the break, Deportivo looked gingered up for the occasion and took control of the match as they got their reward for their second half performance when captain Joseph Gordon grabbed the equalizer to make sure spoils were shared at the end of the game.
The Kumasi-based club will host Wassaman United in their next game this mid-week at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the week five clash.
