Ghana’s Division One League side based in Kumasi, Asokwa Deportivo SC has held a second successful Medical Screening for the people of Asokwa as part of the club’s corporate responsibility.
The exercise took place in Asokwa, a suburb in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region where the club is located on April 9, 2021 as 427 people took part in the well organized exercise which saw the aged and young children screened and treated of all kinds of ailments.
The Founder, President, and Bank roller of Asokwa Royals FC a juvenile side of Asokwa Deportivo Sporting Club, Mr. Amidu Abdulai is the brain behind this essential exercise spoke exclusive in an interview with SportsworldGhana thanked the people for the massive attendance and promised to do more for the society in the coming years.
“I would like to thank the rank and file of Old Asokwa for their massive participation, and, I promise that more will be done in the subsequent years ahead.”
“ It is our corporate responsibility to also give back to the society who rallied behind the team all this while with their relentless support,” he added.
Present at the august occasion was a delegation from the Asokwahene led by Nana Fii Boamah II (Special Assistant) who graced the occasion.
