Don Bortey insists he will wear Black Stars jersey again

Former Accra Hearts of Oak tormentor, Bernard Don Bortey says his dream of returning to the Black Stars team remains achievable.

The former Black Starlet winger insists his future is still bright and wouldn’t rule out his chances of featuring for Ghana again in future.

”Humble Lion” as he is affectionately called who last played for second tier side Samatex FC is currently training with Hearts of Oak, seeking to relaunch his career and feature for the club in the upcoming 2016/17 Ghana premier league.

Speaking in an interview with Tarkoradi based Aseda FM, disclosed that is ultimate aim presently is to return to the Black Stars team saying ”Is never too late,I believe in God”.

He added “Dong Bortey” will wear Black Stars jersey again. All I need is prayers from Ghanaians, with determination and faith nothing can stop me from playing for the senior national team again.”.

Bortey adds he has a lot to offer his country when given the opportunity.

“There is always a chance in life and am now matured with good football guardians.”
