Doncaster Rovers manager Andy Butler has hailed the immediate impact of English born Ghanaian striker Omar Bogle in his team.
Bogle was signed on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic in January after he had struggled to make an impact and he has now come good at Doncasrer.
“Omar is a big player for us. You can see” the Rovers boss told Doncasterfreepress
“The players, when Omar is on the pitch, seem to grow in confidence because of the stature of him.
“I’ve been so impressed with Omar. I’m not singling people out but he deserves a lot of credit for how he’s come back from injury and played a full 90 minutes with the power and the purpose.”
“We’ll speak to Omar and tell him to just keep doing what he’s doing. He demands a lot of respect from the changing room as well, for the person he is as well as a player.
“I’m really pleased for him.” He added
The Bogle was the best player on the pitch as his side drew 2-2 with Gillingham in the English League 1 over the weekend.
