Asante Kotoko have bolstered their goalkeeping department with the signing of Bechem United’s highly-rated shot-stopper Dari Aziz Haruna on a three-year contract, local transfer expert Mo Shaban has confirmed.
The deal was finalized after both clubs completed all necessary documentation, sealing Haruna’s move to the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been one of the standout performers in the Ghana Premier League over the past two seasons, earning a reputation for his sharp reflexes, confident handling, and commanding presence inside the penalty area.
Haruna’s arrival is expected to intensify competition for the number one spot at Kotoko, as the club looks to build a formidable squad for the upcoming domestic campaign and potential involvement in continental competitions.
His signing is part of a wider recruitment drive by the Kumasi-based giants, who are aiming to bounce back stronger next season following a mixed run in the just-ended campaign.
