Ghanaian youngster Dickson Afoakwa has signed for Slovenian side NK Triglav from Dinamo Brest, SportsWorldGhana.com can confirm.
Afoakwa inked a three-year contract with the Slovenian club after passing a successful medical on Friday.
The 20-year old forward had a season-long loan spell at Gomel in 2017 where he made 14 appearances and scored only a goal.
He also made 14 caps for Dinamo Brest with and netted two goals during his two-year stay at the club.
The Ghanaian sprinter is the first Ghanaian footballer to sign for the Eagles after the establishment of the team in the year 1920.
The 2018/19 season of Prva Liga in Slovenia is ongoing with two matches played and is likely the Ghanaian will be in action in the coming days for his new club.
