Medeama SC midfielder Kwesi Donsu has backed his side to bounce back from their early season slump following a slow start to the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League Campaign.
The Yellow and Mauve slipped down to the sixth position on the league standings after their 1-0 loss to Ebusua Dwarfs on Monday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
But speaking to the media after the game, Donsu noted that his side failed to achieve their target of bagging at least a point in the week 5 encounter.
However, the highly rated midfielder remained hopeful that Medeama SC can turn their fortunes around and return to winning ways as soon as possible.
“We thank our supporters for their massive support so far, we came to Cape Coast to secure all three points or at least a point but we couldn’t do so. We have had a slow start to the season but its early days yet and hopefully we will bounce back”, Donsu said.
“I’m just coming back from injury and hopefully I will start scoring as I did last season and things will get better for club,” He added.
